Luyện nghe bài hát The Talking Leaves

Sequoia's winters were
tongue spirit clean
He walked at his father's
Across the smoking ground
Where red and white men lay all
So many here had

The wind had scattered
Snow leaves upon the ground
Not leaves like leaves from
said, "What can this be?"
"What's the thing here I see?"
"From come leaves like these?"

Sequoia turned to his eyes
And he said, "Father you're
where come such snow white leaves
With such strange marks these squares
Not even the wise owl could put them
So these snow white leaves"

His father shielding his
Resenting the knowledge Sequoia
Crumbled the snow leaves
He said, "When I explain then it's
These are leaves, my son
The men's talking leaves"

The white man a berry of black and red
And an eagle's from the eagle's bed
And he makes bird marks
And the marks on the they say
Carry messages to his far away
And his brother knows in his heart

They see these marks and they
The truth in the of the far off man
The enemies hear them
Sequoia's father, "Son
They weave bad medicine on talking leaves
Leave things to them"

Sequoia walking lightly
Followed his quietly
But so was he
If the white man talks on
Why not the

from his father's face
Sequoia went from to place
But he could not
Year after he worked on and on
Till finally he cut into
The Cherokee

hair by now was white
His eyes began to lose light
But he all who would believe
the Indian's thoughts could be written down
Just as the white men's on the ground
And he left us talking leaves
