Ein drugal kar ifra dro
han fulgte og sus
opp gjennom asen, grastein og
staut gange var
Svopt i
en helnorsk himmel
Hans traurig vandret hen
mot mal og pa hoyde

Ein vaerbitt hand griper sverdet
og kloyver blamennenes
Hans kjeft den vrir seg i hat
kommer at falle

Sa han der pa utkikkstopp
oyne ei fekk kvile
For han sokte et syn
Men det blei ein pine
Der blant norges skog og

Hans sinn skulle vise dem
at norsonn han har nok av

Norsonn tapte for ein haer
han var da han kom igjen
for a kloyve dem med sverd

translate: Norway's Home

A strong guy the farm went
he followed and breeze
up through the hills, and wilderness
bold his was
in twilight
under a (completely) sky
his steadily wandered
their goal and upon heighs

A hand cluthes the sword
and cleaves the blumen's
His mouth twist in smoldering
Unpeace will

Then he stood on the look-out top
his eyes rest
Because he a pure sight
but it became a pain
There in the midst of forest and wilderness

His grim mind should show
that a son of the has lots of guts

The son of the north lost Norway's to an army
Proud he was when he
to cleave them his sword
